News of the death of William Whittaker 72 years old at his home in Beech, North Dakota, Sunday was contained in a telegram received by relatives near Alamo yesterday. Mr. Whittaker was a former resident of Montgomery County, having left here 14 years ago for ND. He resided near Wallace. The telegram did not state the cause of his death. The remains will arrive in Crawfordsville tomorrow following which funeral arrangements will be made. Besides the widow he is survived by two sons, Howard Whittaker of near Alamo, Will Whittaker of New Market and a daughter, Mrs. Charles Williams of Hillsboro. - kbz
